Rumor is, there's some interest from the TRX Community members regarding my first go at the TRX 40/40 Challenge. While I wish I had more stellar results to report, my first outing brought 43/34--a score that was ok but not super satisfying to me. (At least the video shows that I held decent form!) The test told me that I've been spending more time working than working-out lately, an imbalance that I aim to fix this month. My new goal is to join the 50/50 Club come August. Wish me luck! Thanks for all your support and enthusiasm for TRX Suspension Training.

If you are a fan of rugby, then you have probably heard of the British/Irish Rugby team, The Lions. Recently, The Lions headed for a rugby tour of Africa, which is the biggest rugby event in the past five years, other than the Rugby World Cup, and probably the biggest summer European sporting event.

We have partnered with Todd Durkin of Fitness Quest 10 and Sean Croxton of Underground Wellness to bring you the TRX 40/40 Challenge! This challenge requires 40 Atomic Push Ups and 40 Low Rows. 10/10 is good, 20/20 puts you into the 25% bracket, 30/30 is a strong athlete, but 40/40 pushes you into the top 5%.

Congratulations to all those who caught spring fever and met my challenge of doing 13 Suspended Burpees (link to Suspended Burpee video demonstration) or more! What an accomplishment both with the burpees AND the videos! All questionable technique aside, I am super impressed with the entire effort and really excited to see some of the improvements that were made from the whole community!

Over the past 3 months or so we've forged an exciting partnership with John Berardi of Precision Nutrition and Alwyn Cosgrove of Results Fitness. Now I've introduced these guys through the blog and you've likely had a look at Gourmet Nutrition and taken in some of Alwyn's concepts so you all know how highly I regard both of them. In my opinion, they are among the best in the world at what they do.

Marine South is an annual exposition which showcases state-of-the-art technology systems and equipment designed specifically for the U.S. Marine Corps. Attending for the third year in a row, Fitness Anywhere’s exhibit quickly became the talk of the show. Drawn in by the enthusiastic crowd, Marines were able to experience first-hand the intensity of a suspension training workout, guided by Ed, Kenny and Alex, members of Fitness Anywhere’s military team. Yet the most telling and impressive endorsements of the TRX came not from the FAI team, but from the Marines themselves. Countless Marines stopped by to relate the success they’d had with the TRX, whether they’d anchored it to an LAV in northern Iraq, in their COP in Afghanistan, or onboard a Navy amphibious ship floating in the Arabian Gulf.
