To borrow a phrase from Bruce Buffer of UFC announcing fame "... and now, iiiiiiit's TIME!" This is it! It has all come down to these last two weeks. The climax! The penultimate finish!
I hope that you are ready to bring it because these final progressions are not for the faint of heart!
Metabolic Circuit Changes:
Strength Workout Changes:
The strength workout stays the same as in weeks 5 & 6 but continue to challenge yourself with increased load as you move through this element of the program. For a refresher on the exercises, click here and scroll to the bottom for the exercise library.

So there you have it! The final 2 weeks.
Were you to have tried this progression in Weeks 1 and 2, there is a high probability that you would have unraveled like a cheap sweater! Now with 6 weeks of conditioning under your belt though you should feel primed and ready. Good luck
Sounds fun! I'm in week 4 now, but I'll get to week 8 before I know it.
We completed our final gym (weight training) workout on week 8 today. It was good timing because our gym membership is done now too. It's back to just TRX for us, and hopefully outside in the nice weather instead of the stinky gym!
Just finished the circuits today. Boy was that intense!
Although, knowing that this was structured by John Berardi, this goes hand in hand with his "The Metabolism Advantage" book. In which he states after the 8 weeks, you must then keep switching up your workouts, and changing the muscle groups you use every 4 weeks.
He states to not just stop HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), or the efforts you put in so far into metabolic conditioning will have a reverse affect and after some time slow your metabolism down again. So the best thing to do, is continue doing metabolic circuits, and do them twice a week still, but now be creative with them, and make up your own and keep your metabolism tweeked into hyperspeed.
If you have a chance, pick up a copy of the book from the store or library. Definitely a worthwhile read. The exercises in general terms, but just replace those with TRX exercises.
Anyhow, thought I'd share that all with you if you haven't had the time to check out Dr. Berardi's work to date.
Thanks,
Justin
