I’m sure you have all heard of Escape from Alcatraz, but I’m not talking about the movie. This past Sunday, over 2,000 competitors came out to compete in the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon and TRX Team "Holden’s Heroes" came in 3rd (relay category). This is no small feat! Here’s how it went down… Holden, our graphic designer and swim competitor jumped off the boat next to Alcatraz and swam 1.5miles to shore in :38 minutes. Our summer intern Jordan followed by beasting the hills of San Francisco with a 18 mile ride in :56 minutes and Jon, VP of Mktg closed the deal with an 8 mile run including the pain-staking sand ladder off Baker Beach in :59 minutes….and they owe it all to their TRX training. J
(No, this child was not one of our competitors but the other teammates had already hit the bar).
Well, for all those spectators that were not ready to jump in the Bay, Team TRX was set up in the expo area putting the 40/40 Challenge to the test. Many tried, many were humbled, few won.

Our winners included: Keith Lee, David Phillips, Russ Nimm, Michael Coughlan

Thanks to all that came out and participated. And for those of you still striving for the 40/40 Club, keep up the good work!
