One of Fitness Anywhere's core missions is to keep soldiers fit - for
combat and for life, on deployment and after they return from service.
The Fitness Anywhere Wounded Warrior Fund provides equipment, training
and encouragement to injured soldiers. Five dollars from the purchase
of every TRX FORCE Kit sold through FitnessAnywhere.com goes to support
this effort.

As a Wounded Warrior and an above the knee amputee, this individual soldier utilizes the TRX to strengthen his core allowing him more stability during Activities of Daily Living (ADL), whether walking, lifting, bending, twisting, turning, etc.

It also helps with single leg and upper body strength along with coordinated shoulder function. This tremendous exercise is a strong addition to any mid-level to advanced program.

You should be able to perform 20 pendulum swings before integrating this exercise into your program. Begin doing the exercise at a slow speed and then add tempo and power as you progress.

I recently received photos from one of our US soldiers in Afghanistan.

"I've been taking the TRX with me lately when I go work with my Afghan National Army Military Police counterparts. It took them a little while to get the hang of it, but once they did I couldn't get them to stop! The older guy in one of the photos insisted on doing the chest press in full battle rattle, but then couldn't push himself back up. Apparently he found it's harder than it looks!"
