Crossfit workout on the TRX

    Crossfit workout on the TRX

    So I just took the level 1 Crossfit Certification this past weekend and it gave me some great ideas for my TRXs workouts. Did a workout today at the Lyon Street Steps that destroyed me. This can be done at a track. Give it a go.

    Warm up: 800m

    Workout 3 rounds for time (as fast as you can):
    12 TRX low rows
    12 TRX Suspended Lunges each leg (add a hop to progress)
    12 Atomic Push-Ups (add pike to progress)
    12 High Bicep Curls
    2 Stair sprints (stadium stairs)

    I completed the workout portion in 15:32 a little more then 5 minutes a round. Felt like I was going to vomit.   

     Cool down: 800m

    Kim,

    Nice workout!! Check out the WOW (Workout of the Week) posts.  So far, most have been a Crossfit style workout like this one and all have kicked my butt; I think you'll like them.

     Hi Kim,

    I just finished my Crossfit level 1 cert as well!   Very motivating!

    Here's a modified 'Filthy 50'

    9 exercises, 50 reps each, complete the entire circuit once for time:

    Chest Press - TRX
    T-Row - TRX
    Sumo DeadLift High Pull (dumbbell, bar, or kettlebell)
    Plank Crunches - TRX
    Back Extension - TRX
    Suspended lunges right leg - TRX
    Medicine ball clean
    Suspended lunges left leg - TRX
    Low Row - TRX

    Finish time in 29 minutes and I was nauseous...

     Hey Coach B I myself am a regular Crossfitter that loves to incorporate the TRX into my crossfit WOD of add modifications to the WOD with the TRX. That sounds like a killer of "filthy fifty" workout there.I think you need to join us on the WOW thread.
