    actually, yes. I find that most of the exercises on the Core A and B are challenging. I get a great workout everytime I do either. But I need it!

    TRX Core A Challenge

    Late to the game but started today Standing BAck Extension- 20 Kneeling Rollout 15 Leg Raise- 20 Suspended Oblique Crunch- 20 Suspended Side Plank- 24 Reaching V situp- 20 Total 119 We will see Are most alternating A & B Core Workouts? Doug

    TRX Core A Challenge Day 2

    Hard to stay inside with such a beautiful California day so I went for a ride, hit it hard on the return route so got some great cardio.  Finished with some TRX and did;

    10 Back Extensions

    10 Bicep curls

    10 Tricep extensions

    10 Atomic Pushups

    Core challenge Day 1

    So here is day 1 results.  I did all of the exercises on the beginner level approx. 30 sec.

    24 reps  Standing Back Extension

    15 reps - Kneeling roll out

    20 reps - Leg raise

    13L reps - suspended oblique crunch on elbows

    15R reps- Suspended oblique crunch on elbows

    15 sec. Suspended side plank - Hand on hip

    7 - Reaching V-Sit

    Hopefully I can improve quickly so I can do the side plank with floor taps and the oblique crunch from the hands. 

    I think I am doing the suspended oblique crunches right but this exercise really bothers my hip joints.  Alot of popping and clunking sounds.  I might have to modify.  Has anyone else had this problem?

    Reps equal to day one.  Just the "good" sore feeling after the first one.

    core workout A

    Day 2 of my core workout-I love the side oblique crunches. Feeling the pain makes me know I am really tageting those muscles.

    I took most of yesterday off to allow the soreness to go away, but I did a lot of stretching and some grip work, focusing on strength endurance. I'll get back to it today with some rowing and trx work. Details will come later after I'm done.
    I only plot world domination because the cat in my lap tells me to.

    Today I did the strength workout. I found myself going a lot deeper on the roll outs. I couldn't keep my back straight for the hip hinge though. I will have to work on that.

    TRX Standing back Extension 21/ 60 sec TRX Kneeling Roll-out 19/ 60 sec TRX Leg Raise 22/60 sec TRX Suspended Oblique Crunch 9L & 9R/15 sec/side TRX Suspended Side Plank (with floor taps) on elbow/no tap 30 sec/side TRX Reaching V-Sit 14/ 60 sec I'm feeling yesterday at my abs right where the ribs meet the sternum--not bad, just know those muscles have been worked.

    Today I focused on a Tempo run-7.1 miles with 1/2 that distance above lactate threshold. Doing a 1/2 marathon in May. Back at the core tomorrow. I was sore today in the abs so enjoyed the other work. Doug
