    Supine Pull Through

I had been working out irregularly for the past several years, but have used the TRX for the past 4 weeks and love it. I have mainly stuck to the All-body express due to time constraints and am able to complete all exercises but the supine pull through. Maybe I just have short arms, but every time I try and pull my hips back through my arms, my butt hits the floor. I have experimented wit hand placement, but nothing seemed to work. Anyone have any suggestions of what I might be doing wrong, or an alternate exercise that might work the same muscles in a similar manner? Thanks

    Re: Supine Pull Through

I've got fairly long arms so this wasn't much of an issue for me, but I know that it is for others.  What worked well for a couple people I know was to elevated themselves on a set of dumbells (hex style, you don't want them rolling away), KBs, Perfect Pushups, thick books, whatever.  Basically, you just want a platform or a handle that will elevate you a few inches off the ground; it won't take much and once you can get that little bit of clearance you need, you'll see a big difference in the intensity of the exercise.  If you're lacking forearm strength, start with books or another flat platform since using the handle requires a little more coordination/strength.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks for the input. It's resting day today, but I'll try it tomorrow.

Tried it out with the books yesterday, and it worked great. Thanks for the tip.
