    New Cardio TRX DVD

I'm sold on the idea of combining jump rope exercises (thank you MaxKon) with the TRX fitness workout and just ordered the DVD. My question as a jump rope novice is the vertical or ceiling clearance needed to jump rope. I have 9 ft ceilings. Any problems? I'm 6'1" so I'll trim the rope appropriately I guess. Thanks in advance. Sounds like another great product. Doug

    You're welcome.

For you (and me) 8'1" ceiling would be fine. You want at least 2 feet of clearence above your head. The hyperformance jump rope is easy to trim, the rope will come unattached to the handles. Attach one end, to one handle, then put one foot over the middle of the rope, and draw it up so the rope is taught and the end of the handle is by your shoulder. Have scissors handy, so then you just pull up the loose end of the rope, and snip where needed. You will probably remove around 5½".

    Re: New Cardio TRX DVD

I have the new cardio DVD, and I did it on Sunday!  I absolutely loved adding the cardio jump rope factor as a circuit between the TRX exercises.  It was awesome, and it involved using all the planes of motion as well in the jumproping phase.  I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to burn fat fast!

I also own this DVD, and I love it!  I think that it does a nice job of slowly increasing the intensity of the workout. I wore my HRM during the workout, and it was nice to see my body getting a systematic, interval workout. The length was actually just right! I thought initially that it was going to be about 1 round too long, but it worked quite well. I had alot of fun, and am looking forward to improving my jump rope skills.  I do plan to add the Bootcamp: Ropes & Straps to my DVD library, but this was an excellent interval cardio workout.
