    Before and After Pictures

The TRX looks like a solid, great product. The reviews on Amazon are fabulous, which is one reason I went ahead and ordered the system. However, the system seems to be geared towards an already fit market.  As an average woman with a few pounds to lose the desire to get fit I would love to see some before and after pictures from users.  This would make the system more accessible to the "average" consumer.  Maybe there can be a competition w/ a free dvd for the winners or somthing to that effect. Just a thought.

Hi vcanfield, It does look like that in much of the advertising that this is for "hardcore" training, but I can tell you as someone who trains a wide variety of clients with the TRX, you will be able to adjust your body positions to modify your workouts. You'll be glad you got it. Ask me, or the community here if you need help. Best, Stephen

I think that sounds like a great idea! I know that a lot of exercise products and systems on the market today use that as their primary target to audiences. This forum has proven that the TRX can indeed be used as a weight loss tool, as did it's appearance on the biggest loser, but I agree that commercially it hasn't been advertised as one. If such a competition were to evolve, I would definitely sign up!
What do silk, butter, and a baby's bottom have in common? None of them are as smooth as me.

Hey vcanfield, I'm about as "before" as you can get I think weighing in at 5'10" and 370 lbs. Check out my video over in the media section and throw in a comment! =)

Well I can tell you, that if you put forth the effort, it will pay off. I have owned the TRX since around April 20th, and have lost 15 lbs so far from doing the All Body Xpress workout, the Metabolic Circuits, hiking, and eating healthy. An important thing to note too is, even if you don't do cardio and/or metabolic conditioning on a given day, go for a light walk. You want to make sure you are getting in 10,000 steps a day regardless. So you may want to invest in a good pedometer. I got mine from Best Buy (believe it or not :P) for $20. On the weekends, I do no "exercise" per se, but I do go for a brisk walk with a friend or my wife and kids to make sure I at least get those 10,000 steps in to keep the blood flow in my body regulated, and just keep my body properly functioning.

At the end of 2007, I weighed nearly 280 lbs. Last year I lost 30 of that, but the rest of that never went away (until now).

Here are photos of me on April 20th at 248 lbs:

And here are photos of me from today at 233 lbs:

Now I set a 6 month goal for myself to lose 60 lbs, and I am so far on track. Just eat around 5 or 6 small portions (on average the size of your palm) a day, exercise regularly, and you will be well on your way to being healthy again.
