    Question: Ropes & Straps DVD

    Good afternoon,

I was wondering if the newly released TRX Cardio Circuit DVD is the same as the "Ropes & Straps" DVD mentioned on the blog and throughout the forum?  It seems like the final released name of "Ropes & Straps" is the TRX Cardio Circuit DVD that we now see on-line, but I just wanted to make sure.

     Please clarify.

     Thanks!

Re: Question: Ropes & Straps DVD

No. There are two TRX/Buddy Lee DVDs. One "Bootcamp: Ropes & Straps" has yet to be released. TRX Cardio Circuit is the first of the pair to be released.

Re: Question: Ropes & Straps DVD

Thanks for clearing that up, Max!  I have the Cardio Circuit DVD. I'm looking forward to Ropes & Straps.  I'm considering the FORCE DVD as well as the Core DVD, but I want to get to the Suspension Course before getting those.

    Take care,

Re: Question: Ropes & Straps DVD

Fitness Anywhere emailed me today to say that the Ropes & Straps will be released in a few days, the DVDs were delayed in arriving, and they just recieved the stock last week. Look out for it in the coming days!

What is the difference between Ropes and Straps and the Cardio Circuit?

Re: Question: Ropes & Straps DVD

Got my copies today. I've not watched the DVDs yet, but there are big differences.

Cardio circuit has a total of 30 different exercises! 23 in the main program 7 in the cooldown.

Ropes & Straps has 16. 9 in the main program, 7 in the cooldown. It is done in a pyramid style, where you work up to the hardest, then repeat the exercises in reverse.

The exercises in Ropes & Straps look more demanding of strength, but with a little less of a cardio focus.

Re: Question: Ropes & Straps DVD

My wife Rebecca and I just finished the Cardio Circuit workout a few moments ago. It was tougher than I thought it would be from our initial viewing of the DVD (admittedly we didn't watch the entire thing yet). We also have the Ropes and Straps Boot Camp workout and did that one on Tuesday. It too was tough but also fun. There were some new exercises for us in each workout that we enjoyed (muscle-up prep, supermans, etc.). As they say... variety is the spice of life. If money is no object just buy them both and mix it up. :)
