    You're doing it wrong

I saw this picture on the internet this morning. There was no reference to where it came from, only the caption, "Bad Ideas in Motion".

All I can say is that this guy needs a TRX and good slap across the face for doing something this dangerous and stupid.

This guy was using the smith while laying on a ball. You can't quite see it in this picture, but he has his feet up. He's not even trying to be safe.

That nice stable stack of bricks doesn't really help the situation much either.

I read some of the comments to this guy's blog post (http://paulm.com/inchoate/2005/01/kettlebell_pushups.html).  This one cracked me up:

"Nice one , I like it.
I got a good one for you, WHy don't you Make a strap
to go around you balls and the other end to the kettlebell. Then do squats. This will streghten the internal organs. But be care. lol"

LOL Yeah, might as well if he's willing to risk damaging his teeth like that! Stick out tongue

This is actually akin to how Francisco Garcia of the Kings broke his wrist a couple of weeks ago.  The ball burst while he was pressing overhead.
