Wear & tear on your TRX

I'm interested in finding out from those of you using your TRX on a regular basis for a few years now - how are the straps & handles holding up?

Have any of you had to replace yours due to normal use through the years?

2 year. Not replaced yet, slight fraying of the straps, but nothing serious. Most of the damage to it how ever came from rubbing against my doorframe during use.

Nothing major:1) there was a little rubbing at the top of the door. 2) the comfort grip on the handles came loose. 3) The TRX yellow strap at the center anchor point bunches due to stress at the same point. 4) the black slip straps (holding the slack) are a little loose with wear. The thing to remember is the TRX is a super simple machine according to S Law: "simple things hold up a longtime or they break bigtime." I have had no uses with my TRX. My American car well... .

Re: Wear & tear on your TRX

I was showing a customer some great workouts one night and broke my fitness centers TRX.  It was used daily by many customers  One of the cam buckles just snap as I was doing a TRX Power Pull.  I was falling back into the start position I was on my butt real quick.  I just laughed it off as I couldn’t believe it.  The staff at FA was very helpful in sending out  a replacement.
My customer got a good laugh also and informed me I should not show off on it.  Wink

    You so rock!!!
