The TRX Standing Roll Out is a great functional exercise because it forces you to use your core to resist extension. Combined with the TRX Chest Press it reinforces core activation in the pressing movement. Here is what the Standing Roll out looks like. The object is to maintain strict body alignment; ears, shoulders, hips, knees and ankles aligned. Roll out far enough to challenge core strength and stability.

This looks like what I was expecting. Looks like a good one. But is it the same as the reverse Isolated I from the Tennis DVD?

This exercise is all about extending your lever length and switching your core on in a big way. You might not be able to get all the way overhead as is shown here and that is just fine. It's all about getting what you can without losing control of your pelvis meaning stopping it from dropping down into an anterior tilt at any time during the exercise
