How to become a Featured Member!

loveurlife:Being fit, isn't just how you look on the outside, being the fittest, is being healthy on the inside as well.
This is so important to maintain proper balance, healthy mind and allowing your body to change in a positive direction.
I am a firm believer that feeding your inside good nutrition, a balanced training program & proper rest will penetrate to the outside... and that is when you will be TOTALLY FIT!
Love Ur Life...so it will Love U Back! Definitely agreed. The better you treat your body, the better it will treat you back, and in turn you will look and feel great inside and out! 
By general definition, fitness is broken down in multiple areas which include strength, agility, nutrition, and speed. There is more to it, but that sums of overall fitness in a nutshell. In order to truly be healthy, you must adapt and maintain your body in those general areas. Do that, and you'll be set.

To be fit means to be physically able to live your life to its utmost capabilities. And while that may vary from person to person, pushing yourself to your physical potential enables you to tackle everday life, seperating those who are just "In-Shape" from those who are "Fit". The human body is an amazing machine and keeping it running on all cylinders is important to enjoy life and all it has to offer.

To me, being fit means being alive. It means being able to say yes to one of your kids saying, "Hey daddy, lets race!" It means being able to pick up my daughter when she runs and jumps in my arms for a hug. It means grabbing my wife by the waist and swinging her around when she comes to give me a hug. Bieng fit means living and thriving, not just surviving. I have lost seceral family members to hypertension, heart disease and diabetes. I will be fit. Not just for me, but for my family. I will see my grandchildren's graduate college and I will make sure I am always strong enough and fit enough to scare the crap out of all wannabe suitors that show interest in my granddaughters.

Having a sound mind and body is crucial to someone's overall level of health and well being. It is important to be physically, mentally, and emotionally fit in order for someone to function day in and day out to his or her maximum potential. As a physical educator, coach, and personal trainer being fit is a lifestyle, not just something to do. I eat, sleep, breathe, and train to be healthy. I have a responsibility to help others to get healthy and live better lives. In order to do that, I need to be in the best overall shape that I possibly could be to help educate others to become the best he or she could possibly be. Being fit improves one's overall quality of life and needs to be priority number one on anyones list!

To be fit is to do day to day activity in the best possible form. To push your body and your mind past the basic limits and to be the best you can be. Why is it important? Souly becuase fitness IS life. Are you living?

You are an example to others!! May it be to your children or to strangers, and these days, more people are facing obesity at alarming rates. Being fit isn't just about my personal accomplishments and what I can do, but letting other people know that it's possible to start strong and finish even stronger when they put their best foot forward. Commitment is important to achieving progress and I believe that is the key component that people fall short on. So through my own personal fitness training and introducing new equipment in fun ways, they will being inclined to ask, "how do you do that or what is that?" and that's when I start them off with exercises that will boost their self-confidence and set them on the right path. It's a proven approach that works well for me and when you make health and fitness enjoyable, it keeps people committed and wanting more. Results are guaranteed when people are paired with other like people on equipment that can accelerate the process. Being fit has changed my life through others.

What does it mean to you to be fit and why do you think it is important?
Being fit means to be able to keep your wits about you in a firefight along with getting in and bugging out without any limits. Without the proper fitness or maintenance of fitness our job become's more dangerous and chance of coming home decreases rapidly. Its all about body unity and being at the peak of perfection.

My entire personal self image is completely wrapped around being and having always been a finess icon in my community. At age 56, I find my credibility is enhanced even more when I can continue to inspire all ages to fitness. Each week, I film my participants from youth to seniors and post them to Youtube, Metacafe, Facebook, and 7 of my own fitness sites. Please allow me to share some of these which feature the use of TRX training. Teens and Seniors on TRX are two of my latest video clips to inspire new participants to the world of fitness. What a great tool TRX has become for me to spread the gospel of fitness!
