    Exercise Routine

We're working to develop a regular routine since the winter is coming and we might actually have some free time.  That said, here's the question: Which one would you recommend?1) Using the TRX 6 days a week (1,2,1,2,1,2,rest)2) Using the TRX according to the schedule 4x a week and adding in dips, pull-up's, and heavy dumbbells for a few exercises like shoulders and chest3) Solely sticking to the program and going 4x a week We've been trying to keep pace on the 6x per week, but you pretty much stay smoked and it makes it real hard to work any extra free weights in.

    Re: Exercise Routine

The thing to remember is that recovery when strength training is just as important as the training itself. My suggestion is to stick with the 4 day a week routine. And include the dips, pull-ups and dumbell’s as you want with the routines.  If you can, you also want to integrate that cardio training,  Cardio really should be done 4 to 5 times a week.

I didn't read this before I posted my questions. Sorry. Adding dumbell's, pull-ups, and push-ups is okay then. Great. Is it possible to keep definition with just the TRX, or do you need to supplement with extra?

You absolutely can get and stay cut using the TRX. Definition comes from a combination of less body fat and increased muscle tone. The programming developed for the TRX burns calories and fat while building muscle.
