Yeah, totally agreed. I don't know how I tolerated free weights for so many years, and wasting so much time on all those machines, just to work 1 muscle at a time! 
It's funny, I have this friend at school (were both studying in Health & Exercise Sciences to get an A.S to become personal trainers), and he asked me, "So you don't use any of the machines they offer? There are so many." And I told him "Nope, waste of my time. Why use 50 different machines, and take 2 hours or more working out with isolation exercises, when I can use 1 thing to work my entire body. And on the plus side, you're using your entire body to work itself, so you're body doesn't try to reject it like free weighs, being they are foreign objects to the body..."
He just grumbled and sighed, LOL But I'll keep working on him, and get him coverted over to suspension training too one of these days!
