I've been using the TRX system consistently since approximately May 2009, starting with the Infamous TRX Workout posted in the Precision Nutrition program forums, and adding several strength, core, flexibility and conditioning DVDs from this site to my program since then. I'm loving the results! I've seen a great increase in my core strength, shoulder stability and rotational flexibility with the TRX system programs. For the past 4 years, I've been training to do aerial arts at a circus school - Spanish Web, silks, hoops, trapeze, etc. ( a whole different style of suspension training!
) This requires a lot of upper body and core strength, flexibility, balance, and lots of overall body conditioning. The TRX allows me to improve these aspects of my training program at home and in the gym, since I have limited access to the circus equipment outside of weekly classes. Although it's only been a few months so far with the TRX, I've made considerable progress in strength and body control on the equipment that I've not been able to get previously with more conventional weight and cardio conditioning training.
