Yes you can, as long as the person you are trying to email has opted to receive email from other members. To send an email to another member you can either locate the member using the member list or click on the email button on any post made by that member to open their profile. In their profile click on the “Send …an email” located in the lower lefthand corner under “Options.”

This will open an email form where you can enter your message. For privacy reasons the email address might not be revealed during this process. Notice this email will go that person's external email box, which is different from "Private Message," the message box in your community profile.
