    Weather Conditions

    Hello,

I am rather new to using the TRX and absolutely love it!  It has made such a difference in my training.  This may sound like a silly question, but does anyone know if it is ok to use the system in wet or cold weather conditions.  I love to train outside and don't want to mess up the system if it is not supposed to get wet.  I am pretty sure it wouldn't bother it, but just want some confirmation.  If so, is there anything else to look for when using it while raining/wet?

Also, love the upgraded website.  You are really improving and I know that every single one of my clients will love the system too!  keep up the professional work.

     Thanks!

    Re: Weather Conditions

     Thanks for the kind comments!

It is certainly OK to use your TRX in wet and cold conditions.  Keep in mind that (i) UV rays degrade nylon over time and (ii) salt air will, slowly, corrode the cam buckles and carabiner.  It's certainly OK to take your TRX to the beach, or out on a cold day, etc.  I do that all the time.  But it's not advisable to leave the system permanently mounted outdoors where it will be exposed constantly to salt air or direct sunlight.  Cold should make no difference whatsoever.  I know folks who've taken their system on cross-country ski trips, hooked out under a tree, and used the TRX right there in the snow.

     Good luck.
