I'm not a PT (or an MD) but I've been using the TRX post-op from a double tib-fib spiral fracture with fantastic results. The flexibility and strength DVDs have been very easy to modify to accommodate my non-weight bearing status, and have been great tools in conjunction with my supervised physical therapy to limit the extent of the atrophy and allow me to to continue (with some limitations) being "active."
I strongly recommend the "Essentials" and the "Biomechanics" series - both for targeted workouts and for full body exercise. I spoke with my Physical Therapist before starting the programs - once she had a look at the programs, she was able to define specific limitations that have allowed me to use the TRX. The results have been terrific, and have helped a great deal with the whole post-accident lethargy. Best of luck to you.
