    thats an interesting approach to soccer specific functional rehab training...what type of an injury is the player coming off of?? Great pic! :)

    Hey, thanks a lot. The player had a lower back injury. He was diagnosed with sciatica. He was unable to perform any running activity since finishing his collegiate soccer term. I used the TRX in his last phase of strength and conditioning program to really challenge him.

    yeah that is definitely a good way to approach functional rehab for a soccer player of his age...I would personally shy away from doing any type of functional rehab working on soccer techniques with developing players however as it has been shown to have adverse effects on the technical development in a few studies done by Jens Bangsbo who is one of the top-3 authorities in soccer program design.

    That is a good point. You would definitely have to have proper technique to even begin doing that sort of exercise. I would look him up though. Thanks again
