World Champion Lumberjack. Thank you TRX!

I started using the TRX on a regular basis about one year ago.  As a professional athlete, I am very tight on time, especially in-season, and the TRX endurance workouts were PERFECT.

I’ve been a competitor in Lumberjack Sports since the age of 7, and this past summer was by FAR my best yet.  I started the season off very well with a win in the ESPN STHIL Timbersport Series, and finished even better winning both the log rolling and boom running events at the Lumberjack World Championships.  I have no doubt in my mind that my daily TRX training played a huge factor in my success.

On top of that, I tore my ACL in the middle of my season.  Surgery was advised, but I wasn’t ready to give up my chances at the world championships.  Under the guidance of a physical therapist, I used my TRX to bring back the necessary strength and stability in my leg which apparently worked, because I went on to win!

My ACL surgery was 4 weeks ago, and I have been successfully using the TRX alongside my other physical therapy exercises.

As a personal trainer and athlete, I LOVE showing this piece of equipment to all of my clients and fellow competitors.  IT REALLY WORKS!

Here is a video of the final log rolling match:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngDGiGYycT0 And for fun, this is how I tore my ACL:

    Hey Shana

Thanks for the video link and congratulations! It was great to meet you earlier this year at IDEA. I hope that the knee is healing well.

     All the best
