My answer would be both. Although if a gym isn't available, supplement your home gym with some dumbbells, and valslides. The more tools in your box, the more options you have for training.

TRX is definately awsome, but I still like to get in some traditioninal strength training as well.

Plus, they did not have good equipment, nor would they let my son workout with weights (he is 13). So, HANDS DOWN the TRX wins. Plus, I can do a few exercises here and there (greasing the groove) and do a full-blown workout when I have more time. This allows me to be more fit in less time...AT MY CONVENIENCE and MY SCHEDULE!

Which is better the TRX system or the traditional gym

What to you think is a better way of having a great workout? Since my friend cancelled our gym membership I would have to say the TRX system because of its portability. The gym is also a great place for a good workout but having to wait for a machine to use can be a hassle. This is true of those who don't have all day to workout at the gym.
