I think TRX training is more than enough. AF basic is more about intellectual discipline than physical. Yes, he will do pushups, run, do the obstacle course, etc. but it really is about training the mind to think first before reacting, sounds stupid but you would be amazed how little people do that. The Academy is basic squared, soooo much longer and you have to learn engineering of some kind. Good Luck to him!

Re: Force Program for the Air Force

3 months to boot camp, the program takes 3 months... Perfect!

We had a user here who was involved with the airforce, I think in a training capacity, maybe for ROTC, I'm not sure. I think he used the force program, I know he had the olive TRX.

He was ThatScottie. I'm not sure where he's been, not seen him for a little while.

Force Program for the Air Force

My brother has been accepted to the Air Force Academy and will be leaving for boot camp on June 25th. We are all very proud of him because he has worked so hard to achieve this goal! I have seen a ton on here for the TRX and the military, specifically what seems like the Nave Seals, Marines, and Army. I was just curious if the Air Force uses the TRX as well and if anyone knows if there are special exercises he should do or if the Force program will cover what he needs to be prepared for boot camp in three months? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
