You should supplement but be cautious about overtraining and then suffering from setbacks. Dont forget to add stretching into your routine.

I would add the core-building exercises and stretching at the very least.

Re: how will this work out

In my experience, unit pt is anything from harmful (just long slow formation runs) to all that you need except maybe working on individual weakspots. I find the nice thing about being a reservist is that I get to run my own pt program. The full military program may be too much for you if your unit is doing its job on the pt side. You may want to forego doing the program and instead just work on what you need.

Re: how will this work out

<strike>Won't that be just as much TRX exercise? Or twice as much upper body as legs?</strike> [edit: i slightly misread your post so ignore that]

That sounds good, but personally I would do the Military Fitness two days in a row like before, forget the other two and replace them with something like the Boot camp: ropes and straps.

Though how much physical training is your unit doing? You don't want to overtrain.

how will this work out

I dont have the time any more to do the military program on mon, tues, thr, fri. because of the amount of physical training my unit is doing now.
