I have lost 50lbs and she has lost 30lbs, I still have another 87lbs I'd like to lose and my partner would also like to lose another 50lbs. We don't have the money to go to a gym but use the resources that we can get our hands on. This would be awesome for both of us and for our daughter to get her exercising also.

Thank you for considering my request.

Our country has a major problem that unfortunately is stemming from a very young age. As a youth football coach, I see more children coming into camp out of shape and it is very sad. The TRX is a great way for kids to be safely introduced to a strength and conditioning program. Many of my players have seen me working with the TRX System at the field with my son and have become very interested in what we were doing. If I am selected I would use the TRX with our players to introduce them to basic excercise and show them how to have fun with the system and to show their parents how easy it is to get their children excited to excercise.

I was a sedentary child & teenager, but as a young adult, I learned to appreciate and eventually love the art of fitness. I enjoy working hard to transform my body and improve my personal level of wellness and health; I love the discipline it takes to become my personal best. I love the art of functional fitness. I have participated in body building & figure competitions in the past, and it wasn’t until I moved into more functional training that I realized how inhibitive training for those sports was. I have embraced kettlebell & sandbag training since 2005. Unfortunately, my body has run into an incredible obstacle over the past 1.5 years due to a bought with adrenal fatigue and stress-induced exhaustion. Despite my current physical limitations, I am a still a sponge in this industry. Although I train slowly and differently now as I battle this syndrome, my , appreciation, and respect developed by the constant challenge of pushing myself to be the best possible “me” I can be have drawn me to the art of suspension training. Overcoming obstacles is not only a part of life, adversity is a part of one’s individual training evolution. Dealing with and (eventually) overcoming physical challenges are part of the process. “Live. Work hard. Train harder. Never Give Up.” These are the ways I live (and train) my life.

Please help me continue on my pursuit for improved health and ultimately overcoming my current obstacles by awarding me with a well deserved gym-in-a-bag!

Gym in a Bag- 5th Winner

Congratulations cgillesp! We hope the TRX helps you get into the Boston Marathon!
