Larry- You can use a climbing carabiner to replace it. REI or any climbing/outdoor store will have them.

But mines are in an a/c facility not everyday use.
Thanks,

I have already talk to Linda about it and she said that the only thing they could do is give me "good" discount if i buy new TRXs.

We are analizing if buying more or not because I could be very probable that we will have to buy new ones every year.

But I´ll let you know what we decide.

I have used my TRX heavily (every other day) for over a year, and my wife has been using a set for the last few months. I couldn't imagine having the problem you are experiencing on one unit, let alone five out of ten! Perhaps someone using them is inadvertantly doing something to stress the part that is bending- probably unintentionally, and without realizing it.

It would be curious to hear from trainers who lend out straps to see if this is a consistant problem.

Good luck

I have 10 TRX in our training studio since february of this year and last week, 5 of them damaged. The little metal piece that is behind the plate used to change the lenght, broke in half in all of them.

We have checked the other ones and they are also very bended, just waiting to break.

I talk to the company, but they said that because 2 months have pass since we made the purchase the one year warranty expired. So the only thing they could do is made us a discount if we buy new ones.

I think they should start looking to fix this little piece or system because they promote this piece of equipment as made for the military but if in a friendly environment they broke in 6 months of using them not everyday because we are not an exclusive TRX facility.

Definitley it is a good concept of a product but the quality in the construction in a part that it is used almost everytime you use it it´s very dissapointing.

I will leave it there to see if anyone of you have had this problem.
