Brandon Vera Wins UFC 102 fight

Congrats to Brandon Vera who beat Krzysztof Soszynski in their light-heavyweight bout in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 102 on Saturday at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon. “I tried to stay in southpaw for most of the fight just to mess with him,” Vera said. “It was a good fight. I wish I could have knocked him out. Krzysztof is a tough dude.”

Check out some of Brandon’s moves on the TRX and how he geared up for the fight.

Yes sir! It was the first fight of the night, and it (literally Stick out tongue ) kicked ass! Vera was all over him, just breaking him apart piece by piece. I thought he would knock him out or submit him, but even though he didn't it was an awesome performance.

It's awesome seeing the TRX being represented in the octagon! Big Smile

Although I'm training Muay Thai in SLC right now, if I was ever up around the San Diego area at any point, I'd definitely like to go to one of the TRX Conditioning, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes one day. You can check out the site for his gym at http://www.alliancemma.com/ and his personal site is at http://www.brandonvera.com/.
