    Looking for some help

I have been on/off again working out with free weights most of my life....probably more off.  I was introduced to the TRX from a family member and purchased the TRX Force Kit. I was wondering if there is workout routine out there that uses both the TRX suspension and free weights.  Im not in bad shape, but coule be in better physically/cardio. I saw the 4 week routine that was posted but the strenght workout doesn't look that effective and with some of the TRX exercises I can't find a video or demonstration on how they're done (ie TRX Metabolic Workout Low Row and Single Arm Row).  Hopefully someone can help.  I will be testing for a new position in the spring within my department and need to be in top physical (cardio & endurance) shape.  Thanks!

    Re: Looking for some help

    Hi,

Welcome to the community! Big Smile

The 8 weeks of metabolic circuits are an excellent way to acheive the results you want.

The free weights circuits are very good, as they were designed to go together by the people who put it all together.

Do you have the All Body XPress DVD or something? If so, look at the positioning for the Back Row, but just take a deeper stance. That's all it is.

The Single Arm Row again is like the Back Row, but you put the TRX in Single Handle mode, and then you are pulling yourself with one arm as opposed to 2 like the Back Row.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Justin

    TBL,

Welcome aboard.  Take a look over the polder posts.  This forum is a good resource for information. Also, check out the video library.  There are some good exercise detailed there.  That being said, do some research and come up with some routines you find out work for you.  It's all trial and error.  Obviously, what may be good for some may not fit into your routine.  But the best routine is one that keep you going.

Do a search for WOW and Kettlebells, you will see what other members have come up with.  Use these as a guide and make something you up that you can challenge yourself with.

    Good Luck!
