This is what I don't understand. TRX is going after individuals for selling "fake" TRX trainers. Does anybody know the status of that situation? The focal point for TRX should be, who is making these fake TRX trainers? I have read other articles about trying to stop the selling of counterfeited items. Why don't these businesses and the people in charge try to find the factories and distributors for these products. Because obviously the presentation of the product is very professional and the equipment needed to make this stuff can't be stored in someones backyard. There has to be factories that are doing this. Why would it be so hard to locate a factory that does illegal stuff like this?
If TRX is such an established product, they obviously have money to invest in trying to track down counterfeiting factories. Even if that means traveling all over the world. TRX should me investing money in trying to locate the factories not individuals that sell the items. Tracking down a factory would eliminate the supply of the counterfeit products.

Well, look at the stitching pattern on all the anchors, and even the straps. Fitness Anywhere creates a reinforced stiching pattern for extra durability.
Look at the image below to see what I mean.

Now notice, along with the cross stitch, they also double (or triple... I'm not a material or stitching expert ) stitch on both the top and bottom. I did not see that in your images, nor JK's.

I totally agree. I don't know the "official" status, but I do know that they have begun the process of first and foremost taking out any fraudulent units from online avenues such as ebay, Amazon, etc..
I imagine they will furthermore, go to the source, and take them out in the near future, but I couldn't say either which way.
I definitely understand what you're saying though...

LOL, that's cool man. Just be careful, and watch it close. If the threads, buckles, or anything starts happening, don't hesitate to get compensated for the knock off, and get a real one so you don't get hurt.
That's my biggest concern, is people's safety which it seems these companies making the fake units don't seem to have any concern for overall...

Here are some pictures of a FORCE unit I purchased 6 months ago. Came unopened with all the advertised materials in the FROCE bundle. I notice the stiching is different in one spot, but it appears to be the same in the others and seems to have the right "badges" attached. Can anyone confirm if the FORCE has different stiching than the Professional?
Thanks,
Mark

Hmm... It appears that the stitching again isn't reinforced, and the "Tactical" emblem seems to be nearly sewn on almost to one side, instead of it being centered...
Also it appears that the thread holding the eblem on the Suspension Anchor is about ready to start coming off...
My diagnosis is it's a fake, but let's have Nate from Fitness Anywhere, or Max who has the Force kit look at this as well to get a 2nd look.

I can tell you that whn the rep at FA called me yesterday, she told me that the counterfeiters are in the process of being sued. Since FA is not a huge company of interest I doubt you hear anything on the new about it because why focus on positive things like fitness product companies in the news when you can stream violence and cruelty all the time. That stuff has to be covered to keep the world spinning!! LOL!!
I have a fake TRX that hasn't worked since I first put it up. I am waiting on a refund which I should get today and then I am buying a FORCE directly from FA.com. I get a military discount so that helps. If I didn't I would go with the standard, but for a few bucks more I get the other. Maybe FA.com will launch a holiday sale, or maybe a coupon to people that are registered now and who register in the future?
They read these posts, so why not post any ideas you have about things like this and see if they bite on it? Or call customer service and see if there is a deal they can work out for you to get a slightly lower price? As a "shopp-a-round" type of person I am always looking for the better deal, but sometimes it isn't worth it. It always makes a purchase easier when you pay what you want to pay, but that mentality can get you taken at times like in the TRX on ebay thing. FA.com does have an ebay store now. while there are no "auctions" you can still purchase through them on there with the same warranty.
Just a thought or two.....or three....

jk,
I am the same way, I always check shop around to get the best price. I just wanted my mind at ease for something that is supporting me in various ways.
When you do order from FA directly, take advantage of an affiliate code. You will receive some type of gift, my was a $20 gift card. With you you military discount and the affiliate code you can work out a pretty sweet deal.
I hope this helps.
