    Powerlifting Increases

    Hello All,

     Just a note--I have used the TRX for about 12 weeks now and was suprised too see how my Powerlifts went up because of the initial boost in my core strength.  Also, I feel as if my joints were not only rested, but somehow stronger. Has anyone noticed their joints restored/stronger?  Another great benefit is that the DB work that I normally do went through the roof because I feel as if I am pressing in a straight line because the stability I have gained is also improved.  DB's that were too big to handle for me because I couldn't keep them balanced are now being done for 8-10, sometimes 12 reps!  Anyone else?

    I have noticed that in general my muscular endurance and core strength has improved dramatically. I can push myself and rarely am sore the next day, which was not the case when I first started using the TRX!

    I even road 72 miles on my bike (the longest before was 44miles) and felt great the next day! I have been doing some muscular endurance workouts (20 reps) of exercises including the Suspended lunge (10 ground-10 power each leg), Hip Press, Atomic Double Crunch (push-up w/ 2 suspended crunches) , Back Row and Shoulder Super Set (10 Y, 10 T, 10 V), Finishing with Oblique Crunch and V-Ups. Whew! Just completing all reps, regardless of how long it takes I have seen the rest I need in between go down.

    Keep varying it up and challenging yourself. Have any good workouts/circuits you do on the TRX that you could share?

    I have noticed a huge difference in joints! I had hurt my shoulder tendon bench pressing a long time ago. Since using the TRX I can continue doinf simlar exercises and gain muscle without having to use the traditional bar and plates!
