i'm not a doctor (but i did sleep at a Holiday Inn express) so start with your doctor and make sure you have his/her blessing to start a more rigorous exercise program. Then START SLOW! i'm a paddler (who ironicly lives in the mid-west. I'm afraid yesterday was my last SUP session for the year (waters now 49'F).
