Hi vcanfield,
It does look like that in much of the advertising that this is for "hardcore" training, but I can tell you as someone who trains a wide variety of clients with the TRX, you will be able to adjust your body positions to modify your workouts.
You'll be glad you got it. Ask me, or the community here if you need ...
