  • Re: TRX in the Milwaukee area

I used to live in Milwaukee so I can empathize with your struggles.  It's hard to pass up good beer and good food. I’m sure if you were to do your workouts down in the McKinley Park/ Lake Park area you’d find someone to join in.  The art museum may even make a better backdrop than all the photos with the ...

  • Re: Starting over!

Keep it up James!  I got a few weeks in again and had to switch my focus to swimming because I did the swim leg for a relay in the Chicago Triathlon.  Now, I am doing p90x but trying to use TRX type moves when possible.  The plan is to switch back to the FORCE program after p90x.  I think it'll work out ...

  • Re: TRX vs Monkey Bar Gym

Thanks!  I find it funny that Brad posted this "showcase" a few days after I asked the question.  I have the jungle gym and have been using the TRX Force workout book for workouts.  I really like what both TRX and Lifeline USA's Jungle Gym have to offer.  I have not seen the TRX in person and ...

  • TRX vs Monkey Bar Gym

Anyone have any knowledge or opinions to share?  What is the difference between the TRX and Monkey Bar Gym's(Lifeline Fitness) Jungle Gym Seems to me the Monkey Bar Gym uses the same idea of suspension training in parts of their workouts.  The workouts they post appear to be random and hard to rate progress, as with the ...

  • Re: My 12 Weeks

Thanks for the suggestions.  It's the case of knowing what to do and just having to force myself to do it! Yesterday was an off day for the strength but I did go for a run.  First run in a while and it felt good.

  • My 12 Weeks

I started the FORCE program this last weekend.  I've done the first two workouts and I am really looking forward to the next 46.  Between the beginning of the year and now I was a regular in the pool, avg 5000 yds/week, until about 2 weeks ago.  Work got busy and I stopped swimming.  Now things are calming down ...

  • Re: Time????

I did Day 2 of Week 1 last night and it took about 20-25 min.  I'm not following the rest intervals to closely, just starting and trying to get used to the excersies

  • Re: When to run

Thanks for the info!  I am planning to start the program next week.  The plan is to run either before work or at lunch and do the TRX Strength workout either before or after work.
