I haven't had the chance to get my hands on the Force program myself yet, but I can say in a general sense, rowing is just as sufficient as any other form of cardio conditioning including jogging/running, jumproping, etc...
However like any other form of cardio, to maximize the benefits of the exercise, you want to add tempo. So with a ...

That's awesome!
I love hearing about these kinds of events and stories, especially when working with 2 of the most largest groups in our nation; youth and elderly.
When you see an 86 year old man on the TRX and he is excited, no one can say it's too hard!
Thanks for sharing the links.

Hi Gregg,
Sorry to hear about the injury. They are never fun.
So there are a lot of good combinations of upper body and core exercises you can do, but they vary greatly in athletic level so to speak.
How physically fit would you say you are? If you are in excellent shape and your muscles are trained quite well, then I'd probably suggest ...

Very nice!
Isn't that cardiopulmonary adaptation just cool? I love how the body just revamps itself when you treat it well.
And coincidentally enough, been learning all about that specifically recently in my Exercise Physiology class. It's exciting stuff.
My big adaptation I could see in running. I can run for about 30 minutes now, ...

As far as I can tell, almost all of them have been the Professional edition knockoffs.
However, I think I may have seen one Force edition that was a knockoff on ebay. I only looked the one time, so there could easily be more, its hard to say.
If it says "Tactical" on both straps, that is a good first indication that it's a ...

That is rather odd that they would make that determination simply on that basis.
But, I suppose either way you know that you have the real deal now, and that itself helps take out any potential worry that you can be injured from a cheaply designed replica...

LOL Yeah, no kidding.
That is interesting. They may have redesigned the material and diameter of the plastic inside the handles then from the one I bought from them just back in April.
Which is certainly possible, being there were a number of complaints from a few people a while back about the handles busting on them after a while. Which in ...
which of these does your handle look like?
I don't know, both of those look a bit off to me. If anything the one on the right is what the handle on a real TRX would look like. Unless of course, Fitness Anywhere changed the design of the handles, which is news to me if they ...

Hi Justin,
Welcome to the community.
I wished I could answer that one for you, but I haven't played with the Force program yet.
However I am going to move this thread to Ask a Trainer though, so it can be found and answered a bit more efficiently. It is my understanding that someone from FA monitors that topic, so if no one replies back ...

Another good point to note is there are some exercises, when used with bad form can most definitely cause wrist pain, such as the Tricep Press for example. I know I had this issue when I first started using the TRX. The problem was I was bending my wrists, moreso than my elbows without thinking about it. After starting to experience some wrist ...
