Although this designated challenge by Fitness Anywhere has come to an end, we hope you continue striving to reach your fitness goals.

We would like to reward you all and hopefully for some, taking the challenge and sharing within the community was satisfying enough..for others you were striving for that golden ticket...the TRX MVP Kit. There have been ups and downs and everything in between, but we all made it through and took our fitness to the next level. Like any challenge there can be only one winner.

The winner of the TRX MVP Kit is... Drum roll please...

Atomic push-ups: 19 (this was quite humbling, I willed myself through the last two and swear I saw Buddha, the Pope, etc.) I also had flashbacks of my training for one-armed push ups (45th b'day present). Room for improvement.

Suspended Lunge: 20/L 20/R I was able to do these with relative ease, as I teach an outdoor exercise class and use the swing set to accomplish this very move. Included the arm pump, however, I later viewed the demo video and found I was bringing my active knee up too high. My left knee, although pain free, crackles...has anyone seen my miniscus?

45 Degree row: 21 This is actually my favorite TRX exercise! This is another exercise I teach in my class, we're constantly working on those postural muscles! I will move my feet closer to the wall next time, to challenge myself even more!

Hip Press: 19 My hamstrings were on fire with this one! I thought for sure I would pay the next day...but, no soreness. Note to self: Incorporate more hamstring exercises in my class...

Postural Squat: 20 Again, squats and lunges are main staples in my classes. So, while the squat was second nature, leaning into extended arms overhead....very different. Look forward to improving.

Oh yes, I did this test in the afternoon, after teaching a very vigorous (but so much fun!) morning class. Squeeked it in before my kids (11 & 14) got home from school. Spent the evening, sitting on cold bleachers watching my son play football and fantasizing about my next TRX workout.

May the force be with you! L.A.

Re: Change the Way You Train

Results: 10.02.09

Atomic Pushup: 15

Suspended Lunge (Left Leg): 18

Suspended Lunge (Right Leg): 17

Back Row: 12

Hip Press: 20

Postural Squat: 20

Re: Track Your Progress: 31-Day Fitness Challenge

It took all of 3 hours but I made it to class 2 and would have gone higher but they did not have the time to complete all the instruction for class 1, but believe me it was work enough just to get class 2. wearing cammies, a flak jacket load bearing vest, kevlar helmet, and a rubber rifle.

Just what I needed....

This challenge comes with great timing! I just celebrated my 48th birthday and was a bit disappointed with myself, for not making a physical goal to mark this year. In the past few years, I have trained to do one-arm push-ups, full pull-ups, compete in a triathlon, etc.; these are gifts I give to myself (as every day, and every year is a gift). This year has been consumed with starting my career in the fitness industry, so my goals were not physcial. Although, I do work with my clients 5 days a week, my own personal fitness level has fallen. There's also been a considerable amount of book time, as my knowledge grows, it seems so does my waistline and rearend! Nothing serious, just not at my personal best. Presently, I'm 5'4", 125 lbs. and still quick as bunny!

I am fortunate enough to live in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado! However, my mojo for the winters has waned considerably, over the years. So, challenge accepted, and look forward to bonding with my TRX!

My TRX was purchased at this year's IDEA fitness conference in Las Vegas. I walked into the expo hall and went directly to their booth. It's a good thing I did it early, because the TRX booth was mobbed, every moment there after. Fortunately, I was able to attend classes with amazing presenters like Fraser Quelch and Todd Durkin, the Kings of TRX!

I'm ready and motiviated to begin this challenge tomorrow morning! I look forward to your company and encouragement along the way...
